    What Opportunities Are You Missing?

    One of my favorite stories from the Bible is about Joseph.  His good attitude in times of difficulty is outstanding…and such an example for us. As you remember, Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery…and his good attitude brought him up the ladder until he was in charge of over all the household maintenance for his master. He was wrongly accused, and then thrown in prison…and again his good attitude brought him up the ladder until he was in charge of all the other prisoners.     How peculiar to say “you only live once” as an excuse to throw it away. Living for the moment…and what makes me happy right now…makes my life about me. Living for the future where I’ll spend eternity… and working to gain a faithful crown makes my life about Christ. Paul said, “Yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” It’s not about me.
