(*Updated:  Originally posted on March 18, 2015) Do you ever have those days when you feel like locking yourself in the bathroom?  I sure have felt like it. Okay, I’ve actually even done it!  Yes, I’ve locked myself in the bathroom! 😉 There are simply going to be days where it seems like EVERYTHING goes wrong. That’s going to happen. It’s a given. But, I also believe Satan tries to attack our homes by taking away the peace and harmony within its walls… and we have to take ACTION! Home Organization Series – The Mudroom / Laundry Room – Day 7

Day 7 – Mud Room/Laundry Room Today, we are tackling your mudroom/laundry room. This room can get quite neglected, especially if you have kids and pets. Muddy boots, wet dogs and spilled dog food are everyday events in this workhorse of a room. It’s time for a little TLC. Our process is the same in this little room as in the previous ones. Don’t worry about the rest of the stuff in the room; we are just concentrating on the junk drawer(s). Dump it. Literally. Do. It. Now. Dump everything out on the counter next to you. Now, as gross as it may be, wipe the drawer with whatever all-purpose cleaner you use. The inside may be…

Even When We Fail, God is Still Faithful

I fail. And to be more honest, I fail a LOT. There are times that I may say the wrong things or think the wrong things. There are times when I may not read my Bible or pray like I should.  There are times when I make mistakes or perhaps fall into the temptation of sin. Today, I’m so thankful and grateful for the Lord’s mercy and compassion which does NOT FAIL. Each day (TODAY), is a new beginning… God’s mercies are new for you and I today. I know it’s true because God’s Word says “his compassions fail not.” It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not…
