Sometimes Things Get Worse Before They Get Better
Don’t you just wish that God answered our prayers immediately? And sometimes things even get worse after we start praying! Where’s God? Why isn’t He listening? Why isn’t God answering my prayers? God always works with a purpose, and His timing is always perfect! But, do we really believe that statement? When we read about the 10 plagues that God sent during the times of Moses’ repeated request to Pharaoh for the freedom and release of the Israelite people, we cannot imagine why Pharaoh was being so stubborn. Do Your Trials Get in the Way of Believing God
Exodus has some incredible FAITH inspiration! Just reading through chapter one, I’m always inspired how God blessed the midwives with houses (Exodus 1:21 kjv) when they feared and obeyed God rather than Pharaoh, when he told the midwives to kill the baby boys being birthed by the Hebrew women. (Exodus 1:17 kjv) In Exodus chapter two, Pharaoh’s devastating cruelty is shown when he commands that all the baby Hebrew boys were to be cast into the river. Just ponder the pain for a moment… The Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigor; And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage… (Exodus 1:13, 14 kjv) And NOW……

I Have Enough.
Because Jacob swindled Esau out of his birthright and had also stolen the blessings that were to be given to Esau by his father, Isaac (Genesis 27), Jacob feared for his life while returning home to meet Esau, even though it was years later since these incidents.
