How to Turn Worry Into a Useful Tool
I didn’t use to be a worrier… After becoming a mom, I now had 3 little somebodies to worry about….and now that they are almost grown up, I still worry about them quite frequently. Recently, some health issues have also festered up some worries in my life. I’m flesh; I battle this great, ugly monster of WORRY. One thing is for sure… If I didn’t worry, I probably wouldn’t pray as much. Now, I’m not advocating for everybody to take up the hobby of worrying. Don’t Be the Immature Christian
We often gripe at our children for not listening to our “clear” instructions. “You’re not listening, Johnny! I SAID do it this way…” Then, we breathe out a loud, heavy sigh of frustration, and silently wonder ‘when is my child ever going to listen to me!?!’ Side note: It might be that our children are indeed listening, but taking action and doing what was instructed shows they are maturing and growing in character. There seems to be so many people struggling these days with health issues (and so many other issues). Every problem is a concern that God cares about. No problem is too small to bring before our Heavenly Father. Today, I just wanted to encourage you to remember that there is VICTORY through Jesus.
