Day 7 – Mud Room/Laundry Room Today, we are tackling your mudroom/laundry room. This room can get quite neglected, especially if you have kids and pets. Muddy boots, wet dogs and spilled dog food are everyday events in this workhorse of a room. It’s time for a little TLC. Our process is the same in this little room as in the previous ones. Get everything off the horizontal surfaces, off shelves and out of drawers. Toss or donate anything that doesn’t get used, doesn’t fit or is out of date. Give everything a good cleaning. Wipe down the front and top of your washer, then run a complete hot water…

How to Do Everything the Right Way
Ah… it’s morning. A fresh, new day. Time to arrange the bed sheets in an nice, orderly fashion. Some mornings the results impress me, other days not so much. The bathroom is my favorite place to head first thing in the morning. There’s something undesirable splattered around the base of the toilet. Let me grab the cleaning spray and wipe up that mess. It’s time to face the dreaded junk drawer. No, wait! Don’t run off screaming out the room… Don’t yank your hair out. You CAN do this! Your junk drawer may be in the kitchen or the laundry room. There are times when I make mistakes or perhaps fall into the temptation of sin. Today, I’m so thankful and grateful for the Lord’s mercy and compassion which does NOT FAIL. Each day (TODAY), is a new beginning… God’s mercies are new for you and I today. I know it’s true because God’s Word says “his compassions fail not.” It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not…

Using Your Hands for the Lord
And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. Exodus 17:11,12 Last week, while reading Exodus 17:11 &12, I wondered to myself about WHY God allowed Israel’s enemy to prevail when Moses put His hands down. After all, the victory of the battle had…
