Day 21 – Be Still, Turn Off the Computer and Gadgets For Awhile
“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” ~ Psalms 46:10 kjv This morning as I prayed about what to present to my readers today on prayer, Psalms 46:10 came to my mind. There are times where nothing needs to be said. We just need to get quiet, be still and let God do the talking so that we can take time to listen. Day 20 – Nevertheless Not My Will, But Thine, Be Done
“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” ~ James 4:3 Today I’m officially have way through the 40 Day Prayer Challenge. His son had been afflicted with demon possession. This tormenting situation caused his son to be self-inflicted by wallowing on the ground in degradation, foaming at the mouth, gnashing with his teeth, casting himself into the fire or sometimes water trying to destroy himself. What loving parent wouldn’t…

Day 18 – Keep Circling, Don't Stop… Just One More Time Around!
” Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” ~ Philippians 1:6 kjv Sometimes the road gets a little weary. Sometimes things don’t go as smoothly as planned. Sometimes it looks as if you’re going to fail. Sometimes it doesn’t seem worth it to keep going on. Sometimes doubt begins to enter your mind, even though you feel that the Lord called you to do what you’re doing. Sound familiar? Realize it’s God’s job to win the victory over battles that you face, not you. When you really grasp that concept, you become…
