In Psalm 107 we read of the Israelite people, who wandered in the wilderness (vs. 4) and experienced many distresses. I would say that with the current situation in our world today, many of us are facing some stressful situations, such as sickness, health issues, jobs, finances, loss of loved ones, tension and stress from political issues, and for many Christians, persecution is prevailing. Psalms is a great book to read at times like these, when we are faced with fear, frustrations, hurt and stress. Psalm 107 emphasizes FOUR times that God’s people cried to the Lord, and God delivered them out of their distress. “Then they cried unto the…

The Best Talent You Should Strive to Obtain
Here’s a good question to ponder right this moment…Could we trust God fully if He wasn’t so faithful? As we read through God’s Word, we can see that He NEVER has failed — and that He has ALWAYS been faithful to His Word. And He ALWAYS will! David himself experienced God’s never-failing faithfulness… “The testimony of the Lord is sure” – Psalm 19:7 kjv“Thy testimonies are very sure” – Psalm 93:5 kjv(*Sure= Unfailing, infallible, faithful) Many of you have a diversity of gifts or talents in life. Today, I would like to share some helpful tips on dealing with stress. Stick Like Glue in Your Christian Faith
There’s never been such a time in my own life where I’ve seen so much turmoil and conflict going on in our world. How about you? In truth, we are in a great spiritual warfare. Atheists say there is no God… If they can convince themselves and others to believe this lie, then they can feel free to live their life on their own terms. If there is no absolutes, then what God says is sin will not restrict their own lifestyle and choices. And ever wonder how some people can appear to have absolutely NO common sense? Without GOD, one lacks wisdom. A society who rejects GOD lacks wisdom…

Don’t Hide From God!
Last week something caught my attention in II Chronicles 12 that I wanted to share with you today. In verse 13, we are informed that King Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem. As a king, Rehoboam had an important job to do. His name would certainly be noted in history, but sadly, we read that he did evil. “And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.” – II Chronicles 12:14 KJV The word “BECAUSE” in verse 14 is teaching us a little mini lesson. Rehoboam failed to prepare his heart to seek the Lord…the consequences lead him…
