What Domino Effect Are You Establishing in Your Life?

Most of you are probably familiar with the term, “Domino Effect.” It’s explained by freedictionary.com as “A cumulative effect produced when one event sets off a chain of similar events: the domino effect of increasing the speed limit in one of several contiguous states. There are many situations in our Christian life that can set off a domino effect. For instance, the MAIN KEY to right choices is right thinking. When you set in motion the habit of right thinking (which comes basically from reading and meditating on God’s Word) you can have the outcome of making right choices in your life, which in return produces a more blessed life.…

Mini Bible Study About Using Our Mouths

Today, I’ve done a mini Bible study on the word “MOUTH” which could be enlarged even further if we also added the word “LIPS” to the study, but for the sake of my time and especially YOUR time in reading, I’ve kept it basically to just a study on the word, MOUTH,” using Psalms and Proverbs. In the Bible, there are 415 instances with the word “mouth,” 18 instances with the word “mouths,” 206 instances with the word “lip,” 119 instances with the word “lips,” and 161 instances with the word “tongue.” As you can see, we can learn much in studying what God’s Word says about the use of…

My God is bigger than your god!

Exodus 7: 10-12 10. And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. 11. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. 12. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. I read this Scripture reference a few weeks back… Exodus 7:12 makes me lavishly grin each and every time I read it! It reverts me back to…

Sometimes Things Get Worse Before They Get Better

Don’t you just wish that God answered our prayers immediately?  And sometimes things even get worse after we start praying! Where’s God?  Why isn’t He listening? Why isn’t God answering my prayers? God always works with a purpose, and His timing is always perfect!  But, do we really believe that statement? When we read about the 10 plagues that God sent during the times of Moses’ repeated request to Pharaoh for the freedom and release of the Israelite people, we cannot imagine why Pharaoh was being so stubborn. Even as a child, I used to wonder how Pharaoh could not see the obvious hand of God in the various plagues…

Do Your Trials Get in the Way of Believing God

Exodus has some incredible FAITH inspiration! Just reading through chapter one, I’m always inspired how God blessed the midwives with houses (Exodus 1:21 kjv) when they feared and obeyed God rather than Pharaoh, when he told the midwives to kill the baby boys being birthed by the Hebrew women. (Exodus 1:17 kjv) In Exodus chapter two, Pharaoh’s devastating cruelty is shown when he commands that all the baby Hebrew boys were to be cast into the river. Just ponder the pain for a moment… The Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigor; And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage… (Exodus 1:13, 14 kjv) And NOW……
