If you could talk to a leaning tree…oh, the woes it could share with you. A leaning tree is weak when the storms come. It’s more at risk of toppling over than trees with a good structure and an evenly balanced weight. A leaning tree also presents a possible danger to the dwellers nearby, especially if the tree hovers closely to a house or electrical wires. A leaning tree sometimes becomes very unstable and unhealthy because it’s roots begin to pull up from the ground, exposing the precious roots that seek the water and nourishment it needs from the ground. How to Stay Afloat During the Insurmountable Trials of Life
Have you ever felt like you were going to drown beneath the insurmountable trials of life? We’ve all heard the saying, “When it rains, it pours.” It can be quite overwhelming and frustrating to take on several trials all in a short period of time. On Monday afternoon, my hubby brought home a bundle of flowers from the country-side road. They were a little pitiful in appearance due to wilting from the lengthy trip home, but I quickly searched my cupboard for a tall jar with hopes of their full recovery. I placed each one in carefully in the jar of water and set them nearby the dining room window. My hubby looked a little disappointed as he took in the sight of their deathly appearance. I replied, “Let’s wait and see what happens!” Within an hour, there were only a few happy campers in my makeshift vase. We ate a quick bite for supper…
