Sunday’s Memory Verse: Study to Shew Thyself Approved unto God

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. ~ II Timothy 2:15 I let my hubby choose today’s topic, and he thought I Timothy 2:15 would be the perfect fit.  He said people today really need to get back into the Word of God.  Just carrying it to church on Sunday is not going to cut it.  So many people aren’t reading, nor studying God’s Holy Word!  It’s so very important to becoming Christ-like… God’s Holy Word does these 5 things: – Helps to purify and cleanse us, renews our mind (John 17:17, Ephesians 5:26, Ephesians 4:23)…

Sunday's Memory Verse – He is Faithful and Just to Forgive Us Our Sins

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” ~ I John 1:9 Don’t you feel blessed with the promises of God!  He’s lovingly assured us in His Word that our sins are indeed forgiven.  All we have to do is confess them to Him — just ASK for forgiveness! I hope you’ll take time to listen.  And, then pray…

The Best Part of Waking Up

Bible, I thought, “This is like my morning coffee!” Then that little jingle from Folgers, “The Best Part of Waking Up“…inspired me to make this photo this morning. We need God’s Word to wake up…and it makes the day ahead seem possible when we know God is in charge! If you agree… Pin to Pinterest and share on Facebook to let others know how you feel! 🙂 ]]>

Dig Your Heels in the Dirt

Dig Your Heels in the Dirt Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. ~ Proverbs 14:1 I read the above verse to my Sunday school girls this morning. They’re not too young to learn what an awesome opportunity we have as Christian ladies to build our house with our words and our actions.  Sadly, too many married women may make the choice to throw in the towel and wave her hands wearily exclaiming that she’s given up.  America wails about the trees and the whales…but where are the determined campaigns to save the homes and the broken hearts of the children? Homes…
