Today, I would like to share some helpful tips on dealing with stress. Since stress can cause depression, anxiety and a number of other health issues, it’s a topic worthy of being discussed and an issue that needs to be addressed so that we can offer the best of ourselves to our family and in the ministry. A Lesson Learned from Manasseh

The Bible, God’s Holy Word, is truly a source from which we can glean lessons on a daily basis. I found some valuable truths while recently reading of Manasseh in II Chronicles 33 Starting with a little background… Manasseh was 12 years old when he began to reign in Jerusalem. The gloom weighed upon us while driving, and yet, there was a sliver of peace resting in the atmosphere. I looked far ahead to view the horizon. There in the long distant, you could see the sun shining radiantly. There was a town or city, numerous miles ahead, that was enjoying a bright, gleeful day. This reminded me of life’s trials — our view versus God’s view. Although we may look at the gloomy present surrounding us, God clearly sees what’s ahead to give us an expected,…

5 Bible Verses on Using Our Words Well

During this time of dealing with being cooped up inside due to the quarantine, I think WORDS have become more essential than ever… They have become our main source of connecting with each other during a time where we may not be able to physically gather together in groups and social activities. Our very WORDS can be a fountain of encouragement to those who are sick, depressed, discouraged and lonely. Here’s FIVE Bible verses on using our WORDS well… “Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” – Proverbs 16:24 kjv Think about what you can do to encourage someone else each day…
