It’s Worth Repeating Four Times!

Print Post
I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

Just a few quick thoughts to share with you today because I know every lady is super busy this week…

Have you ever said, “Oh, how I wish ________!” (fill in the blank)?

Psalms 107:8 says, “Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!”

Psalms 107:15 says, “Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!”

Psalms 107:21 says, “Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!”

Psalms 107:31 says, “Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!”

The psalmist had such a wish that he repeated it FOUR times!

He wished that everyone would praise the Lord for His goodness and for all His wonderful works.

Psalms 107 is a wonderful chapter which speaks of God’s care during the numerous trials and afflictions they had gone though. Yet, God is always present. God is always good. And, oh, how we need to praise Him for his goodness!

We don’t always feel like praising God during the storms…

Oh, but what a wonderful practice to give praise to God which will set our attitude right and help us stay positive during the storms.

Don’t forget that God is in control of the storms:

Psalms 107:25 says, “For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.”

And Psalms 107:29 is so comforting when it says, “He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.”

Isn’t that amazing?

Our God is so good! Let’s give Him the praise He deserves!

He can make our scary storms calm…

When we Stay close to Him.

When we Trust Him.

When we Praise Him.

Psalms 107 gives such great advice to YOU and I.

The very last verse sums it up very well…

Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.” (Psalms 107:43)

God bless you and your family,

Rhonda White
