“And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.” ~ Jeremiah 18:4 Today, I want to share with you a cute little poem (down below) about a broken teapot. My pastor’s wife (Mrs. Kathy McCullough) wrote this poem, and last year she placed it on pretty bookmarks to give to the ladies at our church. I keep mine at my bedside since that’s where I love to read. I love teacups and teapots as well. There’s soooooo many designs and colors. So many unique ones; they never…

Are You Salty…Or, Are You Good for Nothing?
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. ~ Matthew 5:13 I have a deep affection and appreciation for salt. Both “taste” and “see” require a little action on our part to gain the benefits. Are you missing out on the goodness of the Lord? God wants us to put our faith to the test. He wants to prove Himself. When we do, we will see that He is good!…

I’m embarrassed to admit it, but at the time I had no clue what the Bible verse really meant. As I began to grow more spiritually in Bible college by continually reading and hearing God’s Word, my spiritual understanding deepened. I remember coming home for a visit from college and glancing at the Bible verse hanging…
