Day 30!
Wow, only 10 days left… I didn’t know if I would have enough to say to keep blogging about one topic for that long…we’ll seeeee 10 days from now?? 😉
Ever feel guilty about praying for yourself? It’s true that our prayers should be directed toward praising God and then praying for others. But, we’ve also got to pray for ourselves.
At times, we really need a
LOT of prayer. God instructs us to, “
Call unto me“…
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3
His promise is that “
I will ANSWER thee”… “and shew thee GREAT and MIGHTY things”… Only God can do that, but we first have to “
CALL“!
When we have heavy burdens, we also need to ask
OTHERS to pray for us. At times when we’re at our lowest and weakest…we feel we have no strength left to pray for ourselves…we must let the Holy Spirit take over and do the bidding. Our friends will continue to pray.
Just take one more breath of prayer and keep holding on. Realize that we see things from an earthly viewpoint, but God see everything differently…from His
PERFECT viewpoint. His plan is always with the
BEST intentions. He
LOVES us so much…so much that He gave His Only Begotten Son (
John 3:16) for us.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 55:8
Keep praying, keep praying, keep praying!! God will answer you!
God bless your day ahead,

Standing in the Need of Prayer
1. Not my father, not my mother, but it’s me, O Lord,
Standing in the need of prayer.
Not my sister, not my brother, but it’s me, O Lord,
Standing in the need of prayer.
2. Not the people that are shouting, but it’s me, O Lord,
Standing in the need of prayer.
Not the members I’ve been doubting, but it’s me, O Lord,
Standing in the need of prayer.
3. Not the preacher, not the sinner, but it’s me, O Lord,
Standing in the need of prayer.
Not the deacon, not the teacher, but it’s me, O Lord,
Standing in the need of prayer.
Chorus:
It’s me, it’s me, it’s me, O Lord,
Standing in the need of prayer.
It’s me, it’s me, it’s me, O Lord,
Standing in the need of prayer.
