Day 2- Pep Talk Time: Dig for the JOY from the Word of God Good morning to YOU! *We’re continuing our morning pep talks for our 21 Day Bible Reading Challenge…. Think back to the last fun gift you received… perhaps it was something simple like a gift card, a favorite coffee treat or even a pretty pen. Remember how happy you felt receiving it? The happiness most people experience is sparked from temporary circumstances. For example, if someone gives me a gift, I will often find delight in that gift and experience a temporary exhilaration. (Receiving a plant, book or a gift card to go out to eat gives…

Day 1 – Do Not Fear to Commit Your Life to God
Day 1 – Pep Talk Time Good morning to YOU! Here’s your FIRST morning pep talk for our 21 Day Bible Reading Challenge…. Our FUTURE is the ripple effects of the daily choices we make TODAY. To read our Bible today is a CHOICE. (The perfect choice, of course!) How do we make the wisest of decisions without God’s Wisdom? How do we build a relationship with God when we don’t let Him speak to us through His Word — and when we fail to communicate back to Him through prayer? Orange-Glazed Salmon with Asparagus
My hubby and I absolutely LOVE salmon. I usually only plan to make it when it’s on sale or clearance because it can be costly. It makes a great choice for a “date night at home” type meal. It can certainly still be cheaper than dining at a restaurant. Side note: If you’ve never made Salmon because you’re afraid of messing it up, put your fears to rest. One BIG reason I like making Salmon so much is because it makes such a simple, easy meal — with barely any hassle! Hello ladies! This is my first time to do a product review on a piece of clothing. I was certainly excited about receiving this item from Cleo Madison, and I want to thank them for the opportunity to do the review and for the pretty skirt. Truthfully, I wanted to do photo shots OUTSIDE with beautiful, complimentary scenery. Unfortunately, the weather was extremely cold and I could not endure the coldness because I was under the weather. For plan B, I asked my middle son to snap a few shots inside my church after services. So, I’m sharing those with you today. 🙂 The skirt I chose, the Annie Floral Skirt,…

Monthly Bible Memory Verse Challenge – Month 6 – Serve
I’ve chosen the word “SERVE” for this month. As we begin a new year, I want to think of all the opportunities to serve the Lord MORE than I did last year. [Personal Note from Me: My Word for 2018:] I like to choose a personal focus word each year, and the word that I’ve chosen this year is the word “CHOOSE” I believe our daily choices make a real difference in our own life and in the lives of other people. Joshua 24:15 (KJV) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served…
