As you’ve probably experienced, Satan likes to remind us of our sins and our failures. He wants us to feel discouraged and defeated. There are sins that I’ve asked forgiveness for at least 100 times or more. And the song below is what God is saying to me when I repeat myself over and over again. “What sins are you talking about? I don’t remember them anymore…”
We must take God at His Word. He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins. Every time Satan reminds you of your sins and failures, stop and thank God for His faithfulness to forgive you. If you haven’t yet asked His forgiveness, then take time to do so and get it settled today. God gives us the victory!!
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. – Psalms 103:12
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. -I John 1:9
What Sins Are You Talking About
by Unknown
I remember the days when I was bent low,
With the burden of sin and strife;
Then Jesus came in and rescued me,
And he gave me a brand new life.
And now as I thank Him day after day,
For washing my sins away;
It seems I can almost hear the voice
Of the Blessed Savior say.
“What sins are you talking about?
I don’t remember them anymore;
From the Book of Life they’ve all been torn out,
I don’t remember them anymore.”
When my flesh becomes weak it’s then I can speak,
To the Master who’s with me each day;
“Oh, Father, forgive me. Hear my plea.”
And He washes my sin away.
Each time that I bow to give reverence to Him,
For removing my guilt and shame;
He cannot recall what I’m talking’ about,
For His answer is still the same.
“What sins are you talking about?
I don’t remember them anymore;
From the Book of Life they’ve all been torn out,
I don’t remember them anymore.”
God bless you and your family,
